No More FTRB(05.02.2012)
After 500 rounds my Kimber Compact was continuing to have FTRB. After installation of these springs the problem has dissapeared. Brownells had them on hand where Wolff doesn't.
way better than factory(17.08.2012)
I have a Kimber Pro Carry and the factory spring is so weak that after 1 or 2 range sessions of 150 rounds, the spring weakens to the point where brass starts hitting me in the face. This spring has fixed the problem and so far, lasted for 3 lengthly range sessions with no sign of weakening. I HIGHLY Recommend.
A must for 4(04.03.2013)
Many thousands of 45 acp rounds have proven these are THE BEST recoil springs for the pro carry Kimbers. You MUST, repeat MUST give up those eight round magazines for the seven rounders when you use this spring The extra strength in the recoil spring will last well past the stock piece which had to be made "lighter" to feed from the eight round magazines. With this recoil spring the eight round magazine spring is not strong enough to get the rounds in place before the slide comes back to battery. So this spring and seven round magazines, or stock spring and eight round magazine and change recoil spring every 350 to 500 rounds. BTW, The full size 1911 does not have this issue, the 3 1/2" 1911's do have the same issue.
