Works for 43 but adaptions were made.(08.08.2015)
Works well for model 43. The U-shaped bracket must be for the 42 only as the 43 won't fit in it.
Use the part for the slide and washer and turn knurled handled around for the 43. As pictured below.
add some washers for the g 43.(27.02.2016)
The g43 slide will not lock down, the washer isn't fat enough without adding more under it so the knurled knob locks tight.
I have the MGW tool with Brownell's p/n 584-045-017 without any suffix after the p/n, so my mover tool might be slightly different from the 309 part. My tool is black and has no p/n on it or the instructions that came with it, so I'm not exactly sure if it's the very same mover. It was for glock sights though. Works fine after adding some spacer washers underneath.
A perfect addition to my MGW 309's(02.05.2017)
Owning eight Glocks and being a serial sight changer I have purchased both the straight and angled 309's. After purchasing a G-43 I was relieved to see MGW had manufactured this add-on. Within minutes I moved my rear sight and will try it out tomorrow. To the other reviewers: You can believe you have fully seated everything including the lower washer on the G-43 setup but if the slide is still loose you have not. Loosen the setscrew, fiddle with the washer and you will see it fully seat. The slide will tighten up nicely. And yes, the other bracket provided is for the G-42 as the instructions indicate. I have uninstalled and installed dozens of straight and angled rear sights with the MGW 309. Orient it correctly, have the shim installed if need be (always check the clearance before cranking on it), oil it before every use. It has always perfectly worked for me and will last far longer than I will. CAUTION: Orient all the pieces you use per the photos on your instruction sheet and while referencing the appropriate model Glock. The online photo is confusing, especially if you are working on a G-43.
